As the 2023 MLB Season has come into the fold. There has been chaos all around the Show. So far every Division and top Wild Card spot in each league is being led by a surprise team. And why’s that? Teams being blessed with an elite talent from their farm system that has played a major role in changing the culture of their teams. This document highlights the teams and players who have benefitted the most from this youth movement around Major League Baseball.

With the 2023 MLB season about to get underway, there are new wrinkles being added to try and speed up the pace of play. All the shifting and long pitch frames are taken out thank god, but how will baseball find new ways to tick off the fans? I don’t know anymore.

It certainly felt like a long offseason for most baseball fans. Not to me it wasn’t. Now I have another distraction instead of focusing on a certain contract talk that shall not be mentioned. Anyways, Play Ball!

Who had this as the matchup in the Fall Classic? No one. But here we are. Honestly this is most fun I’ve ever had watching a baseball season in a few years. The love of the game is back and the playoff format has improved. If we can just shorten some of these games then it will be as popular as it was in the 1990s.

Well, this was chaotic. I’ve never been as tuned into a baseball season as I am now in a long time. The storylines are incredible, and there seems to be nothing settled. Anyways who is standing out?

The 2000 World Series, that was probably the most anticipated Sport Event (that wasn’t involving the NFL) in American Sports History. The battle for New York City supremacy was never more hyped or exciting as this one. It only lasted 5 games, but either one of those games could have been decided either way. Now 22 years later, with the Yankees and Mets both dominating their competition in the AL and NL, we look back on the last Subway Series that took place in October.

The National League is a tale of 2 groups. The rich and the poor. If you are not named the Brewers you can’t have a small market team in this league and expect to make it all the way. The Cardinals will probably make me eat my words for saying that but hey what can you. I’ll let the rest speak for itself.

I know the Monthly Recaps were hard to come by thanks to the Podcast and Summer Job, but at least we were able to get the 2nd Half previews out. Anyways the AL is as loaded as ever and storylines change daily. Here they are.

The National League is normally known as a pitcher friendly league. Now with the DH in there its going to be fun. With the season starting there is only one thing that the Baseball Gods are saying: I’VE GOTTA BEAUTIFUL FEELING! EVERYTHING’S GOING MY WAY! PLAY BALL!

Thank goodness baseball is playing all 162 games this year. Now with the universal DH and playing every team at least one series a year, the MLB has cleaned things up but who knows what happens. PLAY BALL!
