2024 NFL Season Preview: AFC Edition

In the AFC, the question is who will one-up the Chiefs? (I’m looking right at you Ravens) There are fifteen teams gunning to overtake them for the conference throne. Some of them have much more of a chance than others, but it should be just as wide open as last year was. Note we said that and the Chiefs still won it. I don’t know how anyone can stomach the ERAS Tour living on another year.

TRADE DEADLINE, COME GET IT! In baseball terms, this time of the year separates who the contenders and pretenders are. For the most part. This year’s edition was a mixture of big market teams loading up with major pieces while the smaller market squads loading up with players who fit their system. Some things with this game never change, do they? Except there’s more balance between the rich and poor.

Sorry, it’s taken me a little extra longer to put this out. I’ve been busy working with a bunch of lovable muppets this summer. Anyways, the baseball season is heating up and with the trade deadline coming next week, the buzz has begun. The AL has been as advertised in the sense that the big market teams have finally gotten off the snide while the small market squads are holding on for dear life. At least we think.

I’ve been waiting to recap this trade for a long time. And after a certain event that took place recently, I felt it was time to do it. This blockbuster trade not only spanned for an entire decade, but it had a massive impact on where the NBA is today.
