Ravens vs Eagles: This game needs to be put in a separate document because the referee crew of Sean Smith is trying to rob us again. CRAP!
Browns vs Steelers: Thank God the Browns were put in their place. Yes it was against the Steelers I know but they truly aren’t ready for the big time. Once Baker was Pick 6ed by Minkah Fitzpatrick the Browns were banished to the Steel Curtain. I still don’t understand why the media is calling for Mayfields head. Just because they lost to another real team isn’t the end of the world.
Falcons vs Vikings: YOU WANT A TANK BOWL! HERE IT IS! A matchup between 2 teams that might be punting the season. Falcons, dude where has this been. In my opinion they needed a change of scenery yet did it when it was too late. Julio Jones, Matt Ryan, and Calvin Ridley finally unlocked their talents and gave the ATL their first win of the year. If I am a Vikings fan I want Mike Zimmer’s head.
Broncos vs Patriots: The Patriots COVID drought is over but they got to face a team recovering from injuries in the Broncos. In my opinion the Patriots looked uninspiring and off on offense. This time they have an excuse for not practicing until Friday. I would ask Bill Belichick to prepare his team well before but you don’t want more cases. In this case Denver regains their form and despite not scoring a touchdown held off Cam Newton again and again. If Denver beats KC next week LOOK OUT! But I doubt it.
Bengals vs Colts: How Cincy you couldn’t have had a better start to a game up 21-0 against a pretend team in Indianapolis with Joe Burrow slinging it like at LSU this will be a true statement. (Dramatic Music Playing) Little did they know that they would be fooling themselves AGAIN! Philip Rivers turned back the clock to 2009 and smashed the Bengals defense into flames as Indy overcame the deficit and had a 4 point lead late in the game. But Burrow had a chance to redeem himself, Cincinnati had a chance at victory OH WAIT NEVERMIND Burrow threw an interception that ended that game. The Bungals gonna Bungle!
Lions vs Jaguars: The tank for Trevor Lawrence moto is back in Duval. The Jaguars were no match for Matt Stafford and D’Andre Swift. Wait, he had a good game. It must be divine intervention for that drop in Week 1 against Da Bears. I know what to do in Jacksonville? BRING OUT THE REAL TANKS! Bench Gardner Minshew and beat out the Buttfumble for that prise. Plus their extra picks from the Rams could come in handy too.
Hogs vs Giants: 2 bad teams going at it at MetLife Stadium in an uninspiring showdown. TANK BOWL! Washington is looking to try and win games while the Giants are looking for answers. Once again Dave Gettleman messed up his first round pick. Andrew Thomas was benched for Nate Solder. The ugly play from both teams continued into the 4th quarter. Tied at 13 with 3 minutes left. Who will blink first? FUMBLE! That is the Hogs season in a nutshell, shooting themselves in the foot by means of their own doing, I wonder how the Giants can back that up. BOOM! Are you really kidding me! The Giants defense collapsed again, I know they are a mess in terms of their corners but this badly well there goes their chances at victory. PAUSE! Washington went for 2 when New York had 2 timeouts and 30 seconds to work with. It turns out that the Hogs were more off limits this time. WHAT A GAME THAT WAS!
Texans vs Titans: The game I expected to be a blowout was the opposite. The Texans are to me a totally different team than who they were with Bill O’Brien. Deshawn Watson has played well since the move and this game was a prime example. For the defense they were now for King Henry XXII. He had over 250 total yards in this game. To me the bad move that Houston made was going for 2 up by 7. If they take the points they would be up by 8. Instead Tennessee went down the field and tied the game. Even in overtime the Texans could stop Henry nor Ryan Tannehill and #TITANUP improved to 5-0. Next week you get Pittsburgh, do us Marylanders a favor and beat them!
Bears vs Panthers: Carolina your 3 weeks of mediocre opponents are over, your prize this week was falling just short of beating an NFC frontrunner in Da Bears. It appeared that St Nick the Great Foles was ok but the real reason Chicago ousted the Panthers was because of the elite defense. Khalil Mack and the Monsters of the Midway have returned from the 1 year vacation to dominating opposing offenses again. All I can say is how they will do against Aaron Rodgers and the Pack?
Packers vs Buccaneers: Speaking of the Chesseheads they jumped out to a 10 point lead against the Bucs at Raymond James. The only problem was that Aaron Rodgers was completely robbed by dropped passes and an injured offensive line. If the Packers are going to maintain momentum they will have to avoid the injury or COVID bug. As for the Bucs Tom Brady and Gronk are back in 2017 form again as they and the Tampa Bay defense ran all over Green Bay for a statement win. How will New Orleans respond after their Bye Week?
Jets vs Dolphins: Why was this game at 4:00 PM? This was an utter domination of a Jets team that just lost their franchise player to free agency. They were no match for FitzCeption and Davonte Parker all evening long. Joe Flacco looked cooked and past his prime. As a Ravens fan we tried warning you about bringing in former Ravens from the Ray Lewis Era. Rex Ryan, Bart Scott, Ed Reed, Jim Leonard, and now CJ Mosely can let you know. With the Jets at 0-6 for the first time since Rich Kotite was head coach I am asking one question. HOW DOES ADAM GASE STILL HAVE A HEAD COACHING JOB!? I think I need to do a document on Gase or the Jets as a whole. The Dolphins are starting TUA (LOL!)
Rams vs 49ers: The first time this year that the Rams have played anyone that is outside of the AFC or NFC East. It just happened to be the defending NFC Champs that are regaining their health in the 49ers. San Fran jumped out to an early lead and despite the Rams trying desperately to come back in the game Kyle Shanahan was one step ahead of Sean McVay. I know Rams fans are going to argue about REFBALL in this game but this shouldn’t have been a game to begin with. At least you get to face another bad team in #Sacksonville next week.
Pardon the Interruption my friends! We have some late breaking news out of the Jets organization. Le’veon Bell was cut by the Buttfumble last week he had plenty of suitors for the rest of the season. I wonder who will get him. WHAT! HE SIGNED WITH THE CHIEFS! STOP! STOP! PAUSE, why do the Football Gods hate me! Le’Veon Bell to the Chiefs! The team the Ravens are two steps behind on any given Sunday, I feel like the NFL is doing everything they can for a Steelers vs Chiefs AFC Championship. I hate the Titans as well as their fan base’s hatred of us but we have to tag team together to beat them. Do we need another Revisiting Free Agent Class Document.
Chiefs vs Bills: As for the Chiefs this week, they played keepaway from Josh Allen and the Buffalo offense all night long. If there is any weakness in the Bills defense it is the run game. Not to mention KC couldn’t do anything passing wise until the 4th quarter because of the rain at the Ralph but the Chiefs week off on defense is over for now. They stuffed the Bills for much of the game. And just like in the games against the Ravens and Patriots the Chiefs get a gift wrapped in a victory by REFBALL thanks to Tre’davious White not knowing when to tackle a ball carrier on the sideline. LOVELY!
Cardinals vs Cowboys: Kyler Murray’s favorite place to play in College and the NFL is JerryWorld. In this game that was a prime example. Dem Cowboys were once again no match for an opposing offense with legitimate talent. Once again I am going to say this to Jerry Jones about Mike Nolan or McCarthy. We tried to tell you the people in Maryland and Wisconsin say! Nolan was carried in Baltimore in the early 2000s because he had Ray Lewis calling his own plays on defense, and McCarthy almost ruined Aaron Rodgers even if he won a Super Bowl. If I’m a marketing guy for the NFL and I see the ratings for this game being very low I want blood. 1st of all why is Dallas on almost every week, 2nd why doesn’t the NFL flex games in favor of better matchups, and 3rd the NFC East should not get this type of spotlight after what we have just seen. ROGER YOU BETTER FLEX OUT COWBOYS EAGLES IN WEEK 8! This is coming from Yinzers and Marylanders!
