Buccaneers vs Bears: Usually Thursday Night games are blowouts and nobody wants to watch it especially at this time of year with the NBA Finals going on, in this game the Bucs had a 13-0 lead late in the first half. They will reign supreme in the NFC South for the first time in 15 years, BOOM! Remember that Nick Foles guy that beat Tom Brady? He did it again, the Bears scored 14 unanswered to take the lead at halftime. Throughout the second Da Bears got the best of Brady thanks to Tampa Bay getting holding calls and false starts. This is what happens if you have to face a solid front 7 Bucs.
Cardinals vs Jets: INJURY BOWL TIME! In this case the Jets are without Sam Darnold and Le’veon Bell is banged up along with several defenders. Joe Flacco was no match for the Cards defense as the offensive line got knocked around all game. If you are wondering how Deandre Hopkins is doing well he was Mossing the Buttfumble all day as New York had no answers. The good news for Arizona is that at least you’re ahead of the 49ers. Jets fans, don’t think we are done yet. Le’veon Bell has had enough of their lose first type culture and wanted out of New York. If I am guessing where he will go I think it is DA BEARS!
Jaguars vs Texans: I wanted to say TANK BOWL for this game but Houston can’t pick until the 3rd Round and Bill O’Brien is no longer ruining Deshawn Watson. This was his first true game of the season. He picked a good time to flash his potential against a team that is yes tanking despite having Gardner Minshew. I wonder what the Texans are going to do with JJ Watt? Are they going to trade him or let him play the rest of the season and hope for a new contract. I don’t know right now.
Panthers vs Falcons: Is it me or are the Panthers better off without Christian McCaffery? I don’t know honestly. Since his injury Teddy Bridgewater and the offense has played past their potential and surprisingly are competing with the Saints and Bucs for the NFC South thanks to another solid win. With this game the Falcons are 0-5 and at a crossroads. This was when Arthur Blank decided what he needed to do. BLOW IT UP! Dan Quinn plus the GM are gone! Thank goodness they fired those two, they have run this team straight into the ground since 28-3. I think Julio Jones, Grady Jarret, Deion Jones, and Todd Gurley could all be traded within the next two weeks. TANK BOWL TERRITORY!
Raiders vs Chiefs: The Chiefs over the past few weeks have been trying to give teams undeserved wins only for KCs high end talent and REFBALL to get them out of bad times. This week they got neither. Even if the Chiefs jumped out to a 21-10 lead Vegas did the one thing the Texans, Chargers, Ravens, and Patriots couldn’t do. They torched the so-called best defense in football. Derek Carr appears to be back in 2016 form thanks to Henry Ruggs and a revitalized Nelson Agholor. Even if Kansas City tried getting back into the game thanks to aforementioned REFBALL and Speedy talent. The Raiders escape Arrowhead with a statement win. The AFC West is getting very interesting.
Eagles vs Steelers: All rise for testimony from the almighty book of Wentz Chapter 66 Verse 42. In the heart of YinzerLand (Pittsburgh) the Eagles for much of the game were no match for their far superior enemies from the SteelCity. Eagles Defensive Coordinator Jim Schwartz was kicked, knocked, slapped, and cornered for all of Philly fans to see. Their servings on this day where the Leader of Men (Ben Roethisberger) sent them to his pool of Clay and Wentz and the Birds couldn’t complete the comeback. Next week you guys get the Ravens coming into the Linc! COUNT ON IT!
(Charm City Beasts Episode 5) Bengals vs Ravens: Speaking of the Ravens, their traditions of beating up Rookie QBs whenever they come to M&T Bank Stadium continued as the Purple and Black came within 30 seconds of the franchise’s first shutout in 2 years. Joe Burrow and the Bungals were put in their place after declaring they were HOTSHOTS after trouncing #Sacksonville last week. Even if Lamar Jackson struggled thanks to a bad knee the Ravens did just enough to improve to 4-1. By the way when did Trace McSorley get famous on TikTok?
Rams vs Hogs: Alex Smith’s long road to returning to the NFL after he got Theissmaned by the Texans in 2018 is over, HE IS BACK ON A FOOTBALL FIELD! The bad news was that he was the only one that was helping his team win. Nobody else showed up as the Rms trounced Washington all day long thanks to Aaron Donald and Jared Goff. This is why you never have hope on the Hogs.
Dolphins vs 49ers: This is how things can change in the NFL, one year a team makes it to the Super Bowl, the next they get smacked by the elites in the league. This wasn’t even a game. The 9ers got smacked for 43 by FitzCeption (Ryan Fitzpatrick)! If this were last year the NFC Champs lost to a team that tanked for Tua. Don’t give me excuses about injuries in San Fran you guys lost to Arizona when everyone was healthy.
Colts vs Browns: Cleveland had the chance to prove what they should have been in everyone excluding Baltimore and Pittsburghs minds last year against an elite defense in the Indianapolis Colts. The main reason the Browns hunted Dem Horses down in the Dawg Pound. Philip Rivers and the Colts offense shot themselves in the foot by means of turnovers and REFBALL. This wasn’t even an impressive game by Baker and Odell yet Cleveland escaped with victory. Browns fans I will say you have a solid team but can you compete with us and the Steelers at the top of the North. PROVE IT NEXT WEEK!
Giants vs Cowboys: You know what time it is? ANOTHER INJURY BOWL! In this case the Giants are missing Saquan plus several members of the defense and Dallas is without Tyron Smith and two of their DBs. In this case the Giants stormed out to a 14-3 lead thanks to Danny Dimes and Mike McCarthy getting deer in the headlights. Then he realized that New York’s defense is trash and Dallas retakes the lead thanks to some trick plays. The slaughtering of Big Blue was on the menu indeed….. CRACK! Then the Football Gods punish Dem Cowboys yet again. Just when Alex Smith recovered from his infamous injury Dak Prescott got basically the exact same injury. Even as a Cowboy Hater this is a painful sight to see. The face of America’s Team getting a horrific end to a potential MVP season. So who is the QB now? Andy Dalton, one of the most hated players in Ravens history. With the Red Rifle struggling the Giants came back again to take a 34-31 lead. BOOM! This is when the narrative of the Giants not being able to close out a game occurs as Dalton roasted Big Blues defense on the final two drives and Dallas escapes this game with a hollow victory. All I can say is now is that I hope Dak is ok.
Vikings vs Seahawks: Kirk Cousins, Welcome to playing a team over 500 territory as the Skolkings (Vikings) are in must win territory against DangerTalk (Russell Wilson) himself. The Seahawks struggled to get jump started as Minnesota stormed out to a 13-0 lead on the back of Dalvin Cook. But yes Seattle came back and torched the Vikes secondary as Wilson added a strong game to a potential league MVP. Even if Cousins did everything he could to win the game, Minnesota led by 5 and Seattle had to drive the length of the field to win. Announcer: “Wilson throws into the endzone and it is CAUGHT FOR A TOUCHDOWN BY DK METCALF!” Vikings gonna Viking! SHOCKING!
Chargers vs Saints: If the Vikings blew the game against Seattle the LA Chargers were doing everything they could to win against a Super Bowl contender in the Saints. Look at them the Bolts had a commanding 20-3 lead in the Superdome against New Orleans offense stuck in the French Quarter. The AFC West is looking loaded alright, BOOM! This was when the old San Diego luck bit the Chargers yet again. Drew Brees came back to bite his old team again as he torched the Chargers secondary throughout the second half. The Saints even tied up the game with under a minute left. The Saints scored a field goal on the opening drive of OT, at least Justin Herbert had the chance to complete an incredible coming out party if LA scored a touchdown. Announcer: “Herbert to pass, he throws it to the sideline it’s complete BUT HE IS SHORT OF THE FIRST DOWN!” Now there’s the Chargers we know and love! Getting the taste of victory only for it to be taken away. TAKE THAT SPANOS!
Bills vs Titans: Well the Titans have had 2 weeks off since their COVID crisis in Minnesota. Now they got thrown to fire by the NFL with a matchup on Tuesday Night vs Buffalo. At the end of the day we will have one undefeated team. That happens to be #TITANUP. Tennessee put the Hotshot Bills in their place thanks to Ryan Tannehill and AJ Brown. Josh Allen was exposed by Vrabel like Lamar was in the playoffs. Something tells me the Titans always play well against running QBs.
