The Cast of Charm City Beasts

Michael Hession: Michael is the undisputed face and voice of the Beasts. He sets the tone for every episode, and as the series has evolved he’s become more vocal and serious rather than just being calm and collective. Michael makes everyone around him feel a sense of high confidence, and even when things get down for him, he always bounces back up. Thats why the rest of the cast looks up to him as their idol and mentor. Michael is feared by all of his enemies but is loved by his peers especially Jennifer because of how much of a strong never-say-die mindset he has and is willingness to protect those who adore him. Exhibit A: The Beasts-Dunne Maylay where he told Livvy Dunne that they weren’t interested in teaming up to defeat the Swifties. Hession no matter the situation is always looking for a way to expose the enemy even if it could lead to potential doom.

Jennifer Shoemaker: Jennifer is a one-of-a-kind talent meaning that she’s capable of being a straight A student, skilled athlete, and a fashionista who takes pride in dressing up to look like a true professional. Despite her dazzling abilities and covergirl looks, Jennifer’s claim to fame is that she’s Michael’s girlfriend. Ever since they first met during the first battle of the Beast-Swiftie War, these two lovebirds have been exchanging kisses, had epic battle moments, and some hard core dancing segments when victory is certain. This relationship has resulted in her changing from brownish-red hair when they first met to blonde in order to catch Michael’s eye from a looks perspective. Shoemaker is the definition of a hard worker who always wants to look the best while being at the top of her game, Michael says.

Poe: Poe may be the youngest of the three Raven Brothers, but he’s been the alpha and omega of the bunch as well as playing the role of the cool kid. Even though he suffered a major drumstick injury in Season 3, Poe’s toughness and dedication to working hard have made him a fan favorite, as well as winning the Inaugural Skit Season Championship. Poe’s most defining moment during this series came when he and Michael took down Princess Royal Tiger and White Bengal during the Season 4 Blackout Special. He says that using the water guns during the 2023 Stadium Practice was a setup for that showdown.

Salty Marylander: The Salty Marylander is an overreactive, and crazy man who enjoys hot takes. Even if Michael has become more vocal and serious as of late, it won’t stop his longtime wingman from being the definition of a maniac and hype artist despite having to be held in check at times. He’s the type of guy who can go from gloating about how the Ravens will win the Super Bowl one week, to demanding everyone be fired the next. The Salty Marylander is never satisfied with how he handles success, and its because he wants to taste it as many times as possible. Both he and Jennifer are the only two cast members that don’t have real life connections rather that they were both created characters as a way to promote the series to new heights.

Edgar: Edgar is the oldest and strongest of the Raven Brothers. This 2-time winner of the NFL’s Strongest Mascot Competition like the Salty Marylander enjoys being cocky even if it’s gotten the best of him a few times. It makes sense since both of them have been best friends since they met in Season 3. While Poe may be the most popular of the birds, Edgar’s the one that villains and opposing fans fear the most thanks to his imposing stances, shooting accuracy, and pure strength. Just ask Henchman McCord during the epic escape that turned the second major battle of the Beast-Swiftie War upside down.

Allan: Something about being the middle bird of the Raven Brothers means that you’re both jealous and boastful at the same time. Allan is just that. Known as the “Flappy Bird” or the “Energizer Bunny” Allan gets praised for his unlimited amount of energy, detective ideas, and some strange sequences. Whether it’s pretending to be Tatum O’Neal pretending to do ballet in the Bad News Bears, helping Michael find an explosive weapon, or running around the entire neighborhood surrounding Beasts Headquarters every morning, he never seems to disappoint his peers.

Darkness: Darkness is the Raven Brothers younger cousin, but don’t let his inexperience and 4’9 frame fool you. For Season 3 and most of Season 4, he has gone undercover since he’s in charge of the music played during this series, but the bird known as DJ Lil Poe loves to give the people what they want, which is good music and some timely chirping. Darkness may be adorable to look at, but he’s not called the “Ultimate Secret Weapon” by Michael for nothing. Especially since he helped spearhead the start of the Beast-Swiftie War.
